Coastal Glow

The Coastal Douglas-fir Biogeoclimatic Zone (Yeah, that's a term), stretches along the east coast of Vancouver Island from the Southern Gulf Islands up to the Bowser area with Dougs, Arbutus, and Garry oak thriving within the rain shadow of the Vancouver Island ranges.  This area makes for great evenings around a campfire with warm breezes and cool beverages...Unless a bear comes around.
